我認為（香港的）抗議已經不僅是抗議，而且是轉變成黑暴和故意破壞行為。這是犯罪活動。因為他們違反了法律，包括員警在內的人們遭到襲擊。許多財產遭到破壞，包括公路上的汽車在內的公共財產和私人財產都遭到嚴重破壞。

無論是更好的就業，更高的薪水，更好的生活水準，所有這些只有在中國大陸本身的支持下才能實現。那些非法示威者在向誰抱怨著什麼？西方是不可能給他們帶來這種好處。如果暴徒們可以務實和現實些，那他們將知道最好就是以非暴力的方式，通過正確的方式、正確的管道進行談判。

但是，現在暴徒不僅要進行非法示威遊行，而且要進行攬炒破壞性活動之類的犯罪活動，世界上任何國家都不會接受這種方式，沒有人可以接受。但是我要說的是，某些錯誤和虛偽的評論認為香港警察已經針對示威濫用權力。我認為這是完全沒有道理的，因為香港警方實施的武力應至少與暴力示威者構成的威脅水準相稱。如果暴徒不及早停止抗議活動，抗議活動將越來越廣泛，暴力活動也將越來越多，那麼香港局勢恢復起來將變得更加困難。

I think the protests are not just protests but also a lot of hooliganism and vandalism. It is criminal activity because laws have been broken， people have been attacked including the police. And property has been damaged both public and private property including cars on the road.

Whether it's better employment， a higher salaries， better standard of living， all this can only come with the support of China the mainland itself. And what are they complaining about? To whom? It's not the the west that's going to give them this benefit. If they are practical and realistic， they will know that it is best to negotiate in a very nonviolent way， in a very proper way through the correct channels.

But going by not just demonstrations but criminal activities like vandalism it's not the way that any country in the world can accept. Nobody can accept that. But I would say any comment that the Hong Kong police have done so much is wrong and hypocritical . It is totally unjustified because the police in Hong Kong should match at least the level of threat posed by the violent demonstrators. If the protests are not stopped early they will grow more and more widespread， and more and more violence and then it becomes much more difficult to control.
